The figure of the job coach is key to the success of this methodology, thanks to their accompaniment of people with disabilities and the companies that hire them, always guaranteeing an inclusive environment.

The General Law on Disability (GLD), approved by Royal Decree-Law 1/2013 of 29th November, is the regulation that brings together the rights of people with disabilities and their social inclusion. This law unifies, regulates, clarifies and harmonises the former LSID (Law 13/1982, of 7th April, on the social integration of people with disabilities), the LIONDAU (Law 51/2003, of 2nd December, on Equal Opportunities, Non-Discrimination and Universal Accessibility for People with Disabilities) and the Infractions and Sanctions (Law 49/2007, of 26th December, which establishes the regime of infringements and sanctions in terms of equal opportunities, non-discrimination and universal accessibility for people with disabilities).

Compliance with this law has become a priority objective for the Labour Inspectorate, and non-compliance with the law implies, in addition to the difficulties in obtaining contracts with the different Public Administrations, possible significant sanctions or loss of social security subsidies.
